Gov. Tony Evers orders special session for constitutional amendment to ban partisan gerrymandering

Gov. Tony Evers signed an executive order Tuesday to call the state Legislature into a special session to vote on a constitutional amendment proposal that would ban partisan gerrymandering. The proposed amendment would include language to expressly prohibit drawing districts that  give a disproportionate advantage or disadvantage to any political party.  “There are no tricks,
